Class Schedule

  • Day Cohort: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM · Mon–Fri
  • Evening Cohort: 5:00 PM – 10:30 PM · Mon–Fri
  • 6 weeks · 120 total clock hours

Small Cohorts

Maximum 24 students per cohort so every learner gets individual attention on their venipuncture technique.

Certification Path

Program completion makes you eligible to sit for the NHA CPT and ASCP PBT national certification exams.

Curriculum

Week by Week

1

Foundations of Phlebotomy

Role of the phlebotomist, professionalism, medical terminology, safety.

2

Anatomy & Infection Control

Circulatory system, veins of the arm, PPE, standard precautions, OSHA.

3

Equipment & Basic Collections

Vacutainer systems, order of draw, tube additives, first practice sticks.

4

Collection Procedures

Venipuncture technique, capillary puncture, pediatric and geriatric considerations.

5

Advanced Procedures

Difficult draws, complications, specimen handling, POCT and special collections.

6

Clinical Readiness & Exam Review

Full exam prep, mock certification testing, résumé/job-search workshop, externship wrap-up.
