Meet Your Instructor
Melia A. Smith, PBT (ASCP), is the Founder and Program Director of PhlebX Academy. With years of clinical phlebotomy experience and a passion for teaching, Melia built this program to give students the same rigorous, respectful, patient-first training she practices every day — plus the mentorship and career support new phlebotomists actually need to succeed.
Under her direction, every cohort trains in small groups, practices on real supplies, and graduates ready to sit for the NHA CPT and ASCP PBT national certification exams.
